Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love everything you receive from Tateaco. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to fix it.

Returns & Exchanges (Non-Food Items)

If you’d like to return or exchange a non-food item (such as teaware or accessories), please contact us at info@tateaco.com within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • In its original packaging

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll notify you of the approval and issue either:

  • A refund to your original payment method

  • An exchange, depending on your preference

Tea and Food Items

Due to food safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on tea or edible items, even if unopened. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out — we’re happy to help resolve it.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email info@tateaco.com within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos showing the damage

Once we review your request, we’ll offer:

  • A full refund (including shipping),

  • Store credit, or

  • A replacement item, based on your preference and product availability.

What qualifies as defective?

  • Tea: Packaging seal is broken, product appears contaminated, or the tea is unsafe for consumption

  • Non-food items: Visible damage such as cracks, tears, or unusable condition


Incorrect Orders

If you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll confirm the error and provide a prepaid return label if needed. Once we receive the incorrect item, we’ll promptly ship the correct one to you at no extra cost.
